Day 1 California -> Nevada -> Utah

Today we leave for our 3 week adventure. We're both very excited to explore the US and I'm most excited to spend time with my lovely sister :) First stop Bryce Canyon, Utah.

It's day 1 and we set up camp at Ruby's campground, it's a relief to be here after a long day of driving yesterday (4am-11pm), and almost running out of gas on the 96 driving the scenic rout  through Nevada, all I can say is God is gracious. Of course we didn't drive the whole time. We stopped at SFO to send Josh and Jake to North Carolina, and we also couldn't resist getting a jelly filled and original glazed donut (and maybe a few donut holes) at Krispy Kreme :)

Bye SF
 We drove through the amazing Yosemite which is full of so much beauty. We had to stop and take a few pictures, though they only tell a smidgen of the beauty of Yosemite. Yes that is us wearing sandals and shorts in the snow!

We've driven through the snow, a rain storm, a wind storm, and a dust storm. We thank everyone for their prayers for our safety. God is good and I am so thankful that we are able to take such an adventurous trip.

God Bless,

Gabriella

Ephesians 2:4-10 But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in our own transgressions-it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

  1. I'm really surprised to see snow in Yosemite, I believe every time we went was in July and we never saw snow.
